you are not afraid

to be seen living

and not that regular living shit

the farce that makes puppets of human flesh

you don’t fool anyone about what it takes to survive

in a dry place

left alone

to piece together a redemption so orange we can’t dream for you

holding water in your veins

i understand now that you’re a floating flame before a wall

already all you require for safety for adornment is gathered and you hold you because

to traverse the unkind terrain takes a spell:

you remind you

there is water in my veins

and earth takes care of earth

dry bones dancing in desert lands is a love story

this orange love has no need for walls

Sometimes I like it here. Sometimes I like it better in my head.
